Year 5 is a very important year. It is a year where we feel the children start to mature and show sustained learning power. We provide the children with a broad and varied learning experience which aims to prepare them for the rigours of Year 6.
Exciting topics, such as World War II, Iceworlds and Ancient Greece will be undertaken, allowing plenty of opportunity for the children to show their creativity and talents, as well as their learning. The children will have the opportunity to go on a number of visits linked to their topics. They will also have the chance to go on a short residential stay at an Outdoor centre too.
Teachers: Mrs Ferguson (5F) and Mrs Lewis (5L)
Teaching Assistants: Mrs Day, Mrs Woodberry and Mrs Hornby

How else can you help?
Parents can help by teaching their children their times tables; how to tell the time or playing number games with them on long journeys.
