Dear Parents/Carers,

We are looking forward to welcoming back Nursery, 2D, 4F, 3J, 5L and Year 6 on Monday 19th July 2021.

I would request that any child who is unwell, including temperature, sniffles, cough, cold, headache, sickness, diarrhoea or just generally feeling unwell does not return to school.  A PCR test should be booked and please notify the school of the result, even if it is negative.

If a member your household is awaiting a PCR result we would remind you that the household needs to be in isolation until the result is confirmed.

I would request that if your child has been in isolation that you book your child a PCR test to check that they do not have Covid over the course of this weekend.  There is a new mobile Local Testing Unit at the Gornal Royal British Legion car park on Ruiton Street DY3 2EH.

We will be continuing to work with Public Health England and follow the advice and guidance that they provide us.  Until the end of term the same systems and measures will be in place e.g. one-way systems, wearing of face masks, socially distancing.

Thank you again for your continued support and understanding.

If you have any queries about the content of this email, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with a member of the Red Hall Team.

Kind regards,

Helen Tomlinson

Thank you for visiting our website where you can find out so much information about Red Hall Primary School. To find out more about us, please arrange a visit via the school office.

Our curriculum is based on four key things:

  • Connecting to the wider world; this means we will look to form links with our knowledge and look at how our learning connects.

  • Aspirational; we want all students at Red Hall Primary School to achieve their very best and we will provide them with new and exciting learning opportunities.
  • Developing resilience; this means we will encourage children to try hard, to take sensible risks and help to prepare them for their future next steps.
