Playground leaders consist of 40 children from years 5-6 who volunteer to take on a dinner duty during their lunch hour once or twice a week.
Their duties that the children carryout includes, leading games in the playground, ensuring equipment is put away correctly, helping younger children to manage their dinner trays and clearing away after themselves in the dinner hall.
Leaders wear high viz jackets so they can be easily identified and called upon by staff if needed.
Due to Covid restrictions children are not currently playground leaders.
