The children have the opportunity to study many exciting topics, designed to capture their interest and make learning exciting and relevant.
At the end of year 2, children are formally assessed by their teachers and their National Curriculum levels are reported to parents. Children who did not achieve the required standard in the Year 1 Phonic Screening Check will take the check again in June. You can support your child’s learning by ensuring that they complete their weekly home learning tasks, practice their spellings at home, read regularly and complete any projects set around our topic.
